Two days to go before the big day...I hope everyone has a great time given what we are up against...

 

There have been 3,292 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 570,288. There were 10 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the number of deaths has gone up to 6,535. The infection rate in Wales has risen again, today it stands at 633 per 100,000 people a jump on the 609.7 reported on Wednesday.  For more information on the Covid figures released on Thursday go to Wales Online...

The areas in Wales with the highest infection rates are still Anglesey with 856.6 cases per 100,000 people followed by Cardiff with 823.1 and Vale of Glamorgan with 738.1 cases per 100,000 people.

Hywel Dda Health Board shows 213 cases reported today with 87 in Carmarthenshire, 81 in Pembrokeshire and 45 in Ceredigion. As of December 22, there were 444 people in general and acute hospital beds with coronavirus (confirmed, suspected, and recovering), a rise on the 436 last reported the day before.
