48 hours of data reported today...doesn't make good reading...will it ever...?

There have been 4.405 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 523,118. There were coronavirus deaths reported by PHW means the total number of deaths is now 6,439. Wales' infection rate is now listed as  at 484.2 per 100,000 people a  rise on the 471.9 reported on Sunday.  For more information on the Covid figures released on Monday go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate is Gwynedd with 869.5 cases per 100,000 people followed by Anglesey with 696.7 and Vale of Glamorgan with 595.5 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 472 cases reported today with 207 in Carmarthenshire, 190 in Pembrokeshire and 75 in Ceredigion.

As of December 3 there were 562 people in general and acute hospital beds with coronavirus (confirmed, suspected, and recovering), a slight fall on the 563 reported on December 2.
