There
have been 1,921 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW
bringing the total cases to 477,295. There were 2 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so
the total number of deaths has risen to 6,297. The infection
rate in Wales now stands at 491.5 per 100,000 people a
rise on the 482.1 reported on Monday. For more information on the Covid figures

The area with the highest infection rate is the Vale
of Glamorgan with 649.8 cases per 100,000 people followed
by Gwynedd with 604.5 and Torfaen with 586.4 cases
per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 178 cases reported today with 102 in Carmarthenshire, 59 in
Pembrokeshire and 17 in Ceredigion.
