There have been 2,417 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 479,712. There were 17 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 6,314. The area with the highest infection rate is the Vale of Glamorgan with 672.2 cases per 100,000 people followed by Gwynedd with 657.5 and Torfaen with570.4 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 261 cases reported today with 132 in Carmarthenshire, 102 in Pembrokeshire and 27 in Ceredigion.
