Numbers today cover 48 hours...Will there be a change to the travel guidelines...counties bordering England seem to be high...

There have been 3,969 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 506,960. There were 10 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW shows the total number of deaths to date now rises to 6,401. The infection rate in Wales now stands at 476.7 per 100,000 people a drop on the 491.4 reported on Sunday.  For more information on the Covid figures released on Monday go to Wales Online... 

The area with the highest infection rate is still Gwynedd with 862.2 cases per 100,000 people followed by Vale of Glamorgan with 661.7 and Anglesey with 601.1 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 393 cases reported today with 192 in Carmarthenshire, 153 in Pembrokeshire and 48 in Ceredigion.

As of November 26 there were 567 people in general and acute hospital beds with coronavirus (confirmed, suspected, and recovering), a rise on the 589 reported on November 25.

Family and friends can now attend hospitals in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire to visit patients on a limited basis with prior agreement with hospital staff, in line with Welsh Government guidance.
