There have been 2,659 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 470,856. There were 6 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths is now 6,282. The infection rate in Wales now stands at 469.3 per 100,000 people a drop on the 477.5 reported on Friday.  For more information on the Covid figures released on Monday go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate is the Vale of Glamorgan with 644.5 cases per 100,000 people followed by Torfaen with 617.3 and Neath Port Talbot with 545.7 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 330 cases reported today with 171 in Carmarthenshire, 115 in Pembrokeshire and 44 in Ceredigion.
