End of another week...numbers are not showing a significant reduction...Cities have big numbers again...

 

There have been 2,784 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 468,197. There were 4 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW.  The total number of deaths has risen to 6,276. The infection rate in Wales now stands at 477.5 per 100,000 people another drop on the 489.5 reported on Thursday.  For more information on the Covid figures released on Monday go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate is the Vale of Glamorgan with 646.8 cases per 100,000 people followed by Torfaen with 633.2 and Neath Port Talbot with 573.6 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 281 cases reported today with 182 in Carmarthenshire, 68 in Pembrokeshire and 31 in Ceredigion.
