There
have been 2,408 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW
bringing the total cases to 487,152. PHW reported 7 coronavirus deaths today so
the total number of deaths has risen to 6,349. The infection
rate in Wales now stands at 521.2 per 100,000 people a
rise on the 512.5 reported on Friday. For more information on the Covid figures

The
area with the highest infection rate is the Gwynedd with 772.3 cases
per 100,000 people followed by the Vale of Glamorgan with 695.4
and Torfaen with 567.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Hywel Dda Health Board shows 242 cases
reported today with 105 in
Carmarthenshire, 96 in Pembrokeshire and 41 in
Ceredigion.
As of November 18 there were 722 people in general and acute hospital beds with coronavirus (confirmed, suspected, and recovering), a fall on the 744 reported on November 17.
