There have been 2,582 new cases of
coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 429,731. There
were 5 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number
of deaths has risen to 6,122. The infection rate in Wales now
stands at 699.7 per 100,000 people a decrease
from the 716.9 reported on Tuesday. For more information on the Covid figures

The area with the highest infection rate is Blaenau Gwent with 1,156.6 cases per 100,000 people followed by Torfaen with 1,024.9 and Caerphilly with 976.4 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 234 cases reported today with 103 in Carmarthenshire, 100 in Pembrokeshire and 31 in Ceredigion.
