There have been 2635 new
cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 389,152. There
were 12 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total
number of deaths has risen to 5,990. The infection rate in
Wales now stands at 531.9 per 100,000 people a
rise on the 522.9 reported on Wednesday. For more

The area with the highest infection rate is Torfaen with 726.9 cases per 100,000 people followed by Vale of Glamorgan with 717.1 and Cardiff with 698.3 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 329 cases reported today with 151 in Carmarthenshire, 137 in Pembrokeshire and 41 in Ceredigion.
