New cases down in Carmarthenshire... can it continue...?

 

There have been 2266 new cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 386,516. There were coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,978. The infection rate in Wales has increased to 522.9 per 100,000 people a rise on the 514.8 reported on Tuesday. For more information on the Covid figures released on Friday go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate is Torfaen with 720.5 cases per 100,000 people followed by Vale of Glamorgan with 703.7 and Cardiff with 650.6 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 288 cases reported today with 155 in Carmarthenshire, 100 in Pembrokeshire and 33 in Ceredigion.
