There have been 3,130 new
cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 392,282. There
were 15 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total
number of deaths has risen to 6,005. The infection rate in
Wales has increased to 531.7 per 100,000 people a
very slight drop on the 531.9 reported on Thursday. For

The area with the highest infection rate is Torfaen with 709.9 cases per 100,000 people followed by Cardiff with 705.4 and Vale of Glamorgan with 696.9 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 354 cases reported today with 183 in Carmarthenshire, 146 in Pembrokeshire and 25 in Ceredigion.
