There have been 3,016 new cases of
coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 437,972. There
were 9 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number
of deaths has risen to 6,150. The infection rate in Wales now
stands at 618.1 per 100,000 people a welcome drop
on the 653.1 reported on Friday. For more information on the Covid figures

The area with the highest infection rate is Torfaen with 872 cases per 100,000 people followed by Blaenau Gwent with 846 and Caerphilly with 842 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 367 cases reported today with 209 in Carmarthenshire, 111 in Pembrokeshire and 47 in Ceredigion.
