Covid passes required from today...

 

There have been 4469 new cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 382,203. There were coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,973. The infection rate in Wales has risen again to 515.1 per 100,000 people a slight increase on the 492.9 reported on Friday. For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate is Torfaen with 705.6 cases per 100,000 people followed by Vale of Glamorgan with 688.7 and Cardiff with 614.9 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 653 cases reported today with 332 in Carmarthenshire, 225 in Pembrokeshire and 96 in Ceredigion. The numbers cover 48 hours of data.

Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,400,694 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 2,229,956 people in Wales are now fully vaccinated. 12-15 year olds are now eligible for one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, you’ll be contacted by your health board.

Covid passes in Wales:  as new rules come into force on October 11...

The NHS COVID-19 pass is available via the NHS website and can be accessed on any device. The pass is not available on the NHS app, as this is only valid in England. You will need an NHS Log in and be asked to upload a photo of your passport or full driving license. If you do not have any photographic ID you will need to register for a paper NHS COVID-19 certificate. All you need to know is available here…
