Beginnings and Ends...With infection rates falling is it a beginning of a trend and a start to the end of concern...

 

There have been 3986 new cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 364,866. There were 17 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,924. The infection rate in Wales is now 559.4 per 100,000 people a sizeable drop on the 612 reported on Sunday.  For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate is still Neath Port Talbot with 739.6 cases per 100,000 people followed by Torfaen with 687.5 and Caerphilly with 685.4 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 442 cases reported today with 203 in Carmarthenshire, 193 in Pembrokeshire and 46 in Ceredigion.

Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,384,331 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 2,225, 525 people in Wales are now fully vaccinated.

This picture popped up on my timeline this morning...Two that brought tears of joy and sadness throughout their whole time here...Sadly both have passed over the rainbow bridge but will always be with us with lovely memories... Soon their place on that infamous settee will be taken by Alfie and Bertie the Bedlington pup... 

I hope that Taffy and Murphy will not mind as there will be plenty of room for you all...
