There have been 3986 new
cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 364,866. There
were 17 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total
number of deaths has risen to 5,924. The infection rate in
Wales is now 559.4 per 100,000 people a
sizeable drop on the 612 reported on Sunday. For more

The area with the highest
infection rate is still Neath Port Talbot with 739.6 cases per 100,000 people followed by Torfaen with 687.5 and Caerphilly with 685.4 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 442 cases reported today with 203 in Carmarthenshire, 193 in Pembrokeshire and 46 in Ceredigion.
