There have been 3009 new cases of coronavirus reported by PHW bringing the total cases
to 358,550. There were 5 coronavirus deaths
reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,897. The infection rate in Wales is now 638.4 per 100,000 people a drop on the 648.1 reported

The area with the highest infection rate is still Neath Port Talbot with 907.8 cases per 100,000 people followed by Rhondda Cynon Taff with 862.1 and Caerphilly with 833.4 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 440 cases reported today with 219 in Carmarthenshire, 175 in Pembrokeshire and 46 in Ceredigion.
