Furlough coming to an end...UC Bonus being removed...When will Covid take an exit strategy...?

 

There have been 2580 new cases reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 355,542. There were 13 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,892The infection rate in Wales is now 648.1 per 100,000 people almost the same as the 648 reported on Wednesday.  For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Neath Port Talbot with 935.7 cases per 100,000 followed by Rhondda Cynon Taf with 876.6 and Caerphilly with 848.8 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 334 new cases reported today, 202 in Carmarthenshire, 71 in Pembrokeshire and 61 in Ceredigion.

Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,376,313 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 2,222,830 people in Wales are now fully vaccinated.
