3369 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 352,939. There were 9 coronavirus deaths reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,879. The infection rate in Wales is now 648 per 100,000 people a slight drop in the rate 650.6 reported on Tuesday.  For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The local authority with the highest infection rate in Wales is Neath Port Talbot with 938.5 cases per 100,000 followed by Rhondda Cynon Taf with 889.5 and Caerphilly with 840.5 cases per 100,000.  Hywel Dda Health Board shows 367 new cases reported today, 227 in Carmarthenshire, 89 in Pembrokeshire and 51 in Ceredigion.
