2270 new cases of
coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 349,470. There
were 6 coronavirus deaths reported
today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,870. The
infection rate in Wales is now 650.6 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Neath Port Talbot with 927.3 cases per 100,000 followed by Rhondda Cynon Taf with 879.9 and Merthyr Tydfil with 865.3 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 814 new cases reported today, 471 in Carmarthenshire, 220 in Pembrokeshire and 123 in Ceredigion. These numbers are covering 72 hours of data.
