1924 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by
PHW bringing the total cases to 312,292. There were 5 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so
the total number of deaths has risen to 5,760. The
infection rate in Wales is now 510.8 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Merthyr Tydfil with 742.6 cases per 100,000 followed by Carmarthenshire with 719.9 and Neath Port Talbot with 653.5 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 250 new cases reported today, 185 in Carmarthenshire, 38 in Pembrokeshire and 27 in Ceredigion.
