1393 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing
the total cases to 264,756. There were no new coronavirus
deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths stays at 5,658. The
infection rate in Wales is now 306.1 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 430.5 cases per 100,000, followed by Neath Port Talbot with 409.5 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 119 new cases reported today, 62 in Carmarthenshire, 34 in Pembrokeshire and 23 in Ceredigion.
