3247 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 264,756. There were 2 new coronavirus death reported by PHW so the total number of deaths rises to 5,658. The infection rate in Wales is now 288.6 per 100,000 people up from 245.7 on Sunday.

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 414.9 cases per 100,000, followed by Neath Port Talbot with 363.5 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 422 new cases reported today, 188 in Carmarthenshire, 173 in Pembrokeshire and 61 in Ceredigion. The case numbers today cover 48 hours.
