1705 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 267,854. There were 4 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths rises to 5,662. The infection rate in Wales is now 321.7 per 100,000 people up from 306.1 on Tuesday. For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Swansea with 462 cases per 100,000, followed by Denbighshire with 435 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 218 new cases reported today, 106 in Carmarthenshire, 83 in Pembrokeshire and 29 in Ceredigion.
