The window of hope is trying to arrive...

 

A further 608 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 243,857. 4 new coronavirus deaths were reported by PHW so the total number of deaths rises to 5,620. The infection rate in Wales is now 136.3 per 100,000 people down from 139.8 the day before.  Wales' infection rate has now fallen steadily for more than a week. 

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 359.5 cases per 100,000, followed by Conwy with 252.6 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 37 new cases reported today, 18 in Carmarthenshire, 17 in Pembrokeshire and 2 in Ceredigion. For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...
