A further 681 new cases of coronavirus have been
reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 244,538. There were 3 new coronavirus deaths reported by
PHW so the total number of deaths remains at 5,623. The
infection rate in Wales is now 133.4 per 100,000 people down from 136.3 the day before. Wales'
infection rate has now fallen steadily for more than a week.

The
area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 356.3 cases
per 100,000, followed by Conwy with 239.8 cases per 100,000.
Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 55 new cases reported
today, 27 in Carmarthenshire, 23 in
Pembrokeshire and 5 in Ceredigion.
