1373 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing
the total cases to 256,675. 4 new coronavirus deaths
were reported by PHW so the total number of deaths rises to 5,645. The
infection rate in Wales is now 196.6 per 100,000 people
up from 184.3 recorded on

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 357.4 cases per 100,000, followed by Wrexham with 273.6 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 144 new cases reported today, 63 in Carmarthenshire, 64 in Pembrokeshire and 17 in Ceredigion.
