the total number of deaths rises to 5,672. The
infection rate in Wales is now 386.6 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Swansea with 638.1 cases per 100,000, followed by Neath Port Talbot with 515.6 cases per 100,000 and Denbighshire with 493.2. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 429 new cases reported today, 212 in Carmarthenshire, 149 in Pembrokeshire and 68 in Ceredigion.
