3328 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by
PHW bringing the total cases to 281,590. There were 5 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so
the total number of deaths has risen to 5,677. The
infection rate in Wales is now 408.6 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Swansea with 653.9 cases per 100,000, followed by Neath Port Talbot with 585.4 cases per 100,000 and Denbighshire with 526.7. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 416 new cases reported today, 242 in Carmarthenshire, 134 in Pembrokeshire and 40 in Ceredigion.
