Bank holiday weekend numbers...Makes you want to stay at home...

 

2357 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 274,390. There were 3 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths rises to 5,671The infection rate in Wales is now 355 per 100,000 people up from 343 on Friday. For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Swansea with 543.7 cases per 100,000, followed by Neath Port Talbot with 480.8 cases per 100,000 and Denbighshire with 479.6. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 223 new cases reported today, 117 in Carmarthenshire, 72 in Pembrokeshire and 34 in Ceredigion.

Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,349,268 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 2,174,937 people are now fully vaccinated.
