There have been no reported deaths of

Wales. There were 92
new positive cases reported, taking the total confirmed cases in Wales to 213,091. The total number of deaths in
Wales remains at 5,569. The case
rate in Wales has edged up to 8.3
per 100,000 over seven days.

variant, first identified in India, in Llandudno, Llandudno Junction and
Penrhyn Bay. Denbighshire is the second highest with 13.6, alongside Wrexham which has fallen to a case rate of 12.2. Merthyr Tydfil, Anglesey and Blaenau Gwent, all have very low case rates
with one confirmed case of Covid in the last seven days.
Figures released on Sunday cover 24 hours up to
09:00 on Friday as data is no longer published on Saturday.
Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,179,830 people in Wales have now had their first
