The sun is out...the pubs are open... the beaches are full...what comes next...?

Figures released on today cover 24 hours up to 09:00 BST on Friday as data is no longer published on Saturdays.

 

There have been no more deaths recorded with coronavirus in Wales, according to Public Health Wales. There have been 30 new cases recorded, taking the total of confirmed cases in Wales to 212,702. The total number of deaths remains at 5,569. Wales' case rate has dropped slightly to 8.6 for every 100,000 people. Eight of the new cases were in Cardiff with four in Conwy, four in Carmarthenshire and three in Flintshire.

No new cases were reported in eight local authority areas: Anglesey, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Monmouthshire, Torfaen, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent and Rhondda Cynon Taf. Bridgend has the highest case rate in Wales at 28.6 per 100,000 people in past seven days, followed by Monmouthshire 18 and Wrexham 14. Ceredigion has the lowest case rate at 1.4, followed by Powys 3 and Rhondda Cynon Taf 3.7.


Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,141,427 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. 1,111,929 people are now fully vaccinated.

No data will be published on Bank Holiday Monday with Tuesday's data covering 48 hours up to 09:00 on Sunday. Wednesday's data will cover the 48-hour period up to Tuesday at 09:00.
