No further deaths reported today with
coronavirus in Wales, according to Public Health Wales. There have been 32
new cases recorded, taking the total of confirmed cases in Wales to 212,672. The total number of deaths
remains at 5,569. Wales' case rate
has dropped slightly to 8.8 for
every 100,000 people. The new cases
include 5 in Neath Port Talbot, 4 in Newport, 3 in Swansea and 3 in
Wrexham.
No new cases were reported in seven local authority
areas: Anglesey, Denbighshire, Merthyr Tydfil, Blaenau Gwent, Rhondda Cynon Taf
and Pembrokeshire. Bridgend has the highest case rate in Wales at 27.2, followed by Monmouthshire 19 and Newport 12.9 although the latter two saw reductions on Thursday's figures. Powys
has the lowest case rate at 1.5,
followed by Pembrokeshire 1.6 and
Gwynedd 2.4.

Future Changes to Recycling and Bin Collections...
Carmarthenshire County Council want to make some changes to recycling and bin collections in Carmarthenshire. This includes weekly blue bag collections along with food waste as well as three-weekly glass and black bag collections. They are also looking at increasing the number of materials collected.
