Snow has fallen...we need the virus to fall and bring about a change in the weather...

Looking at the reports online and the television, snow has fallen across a large part of Wales and I do not think for a minute that everyone will adhere to the advice of exercise in your local area, that is evident by those that are travelling to remote areas and the many that are going about as if everything is fine and dandy… To you people… it is not safe and you are putting at risk the lives of thousands… With my wife being one of the key workers today will be spent with my loyal wee man Alfie, Charlie the cat will be here and there, music through Alexa will be on to see the day through…

Another 34 people have died in Wales with coronavirus, reports Public Health Wales. It takes the total number of deaths with Covid reported since the start of the pandemic in Wales to 4,754. 605 new Covid infections were also reported, taking the total number of cases to 192,282.

 

Of the new reported deaths, there were 9 in the Cardiff and Vale Health Board area, and 7 in both the Aneurin Bevan and Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board areas. 4 were in the Swansea Bay Health Board area and a further 3 in the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board area, which covers North Wales. There were 2 deaths in the Hywel Dda area of West Wales, also 2 in the Powys Health Board area.

 

In total 2,424,374 Covid tests have been carried out in Wales, with 1,514,049 people tested. Figures now show 403,463 people have now received their first coronavirus vaccine dose, with 786 receiving their second.
