Numbers below 1000 today...no deaths... have we turned the corner...?

There have been 923 new cases of coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 803,360. There were 0 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths has stays at 6,923. The latest infection rate based on PCR tests, for the seven days up to February 10, now stands at 326.8 cases for every 100,000 people a reduction from the 339.1 cases recorded on Monday. .For more information on the Covid figures released on Tuesday go to WalesOnline...

The local authority with the highest infection rate for the seven days up to February 10 was Carmarthenshire with 452.9 followed by Ceredigion with 449.8 and Cardiff with 390.8.

Hywel Dda Health Board shows 111 cases reported today with 77 in Carmarthenshire, 17 in Pembrokeshire and 17 in Ceredigion. As of February 11, there were only 94 people in acute hospitals actively being treated for Covid in Wales out of 341 patients in acute hospitals with Covid.
