There have been 4,303 new cases of
coronavirus reported today by PHW bringing the total cases to 459,325. There
were 14 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number
of deaths has risen to 6,237. The infection rate in Wales now
stands at 536.9 per 100,000 people another drop
on the 546.8 reported on Sunday. For more information on the Covid figures

The area with the highest infection rate is the Vale of Glamorgan with 769.5 cases per 100,000 people followed by Torfaen with 725.8 and Caerphilly with 691.4 cases per 100,000 people. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 537 cases reported today with 277 in Carmarthenshire, 183 in Pembrokeshire and 77 in Ceredigion.
