2576 new cases of
coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 330,650. There
were 7 coronavirus deaths reported
today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,821. The
infection rate in Wales is now 527.4 per 100,000 people
up from 514 on Monday.

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Neath Port Talbot with 835.2 cases per 100,000 followed by Merthyr Tydfil with 727.7 and Caerphilly with 682.6 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 237 new cases reported today, 166 in Carmarthenshire, 36 in Pembrokeshire and 37 in Ceredigion.
