2467 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by
PHW bringing the total cases to 303,743. There were 5 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so
the total number of deaths has risen to 5,726. The
infection rate in Wales is now 522.7 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Merthyr Tydfil with 795.7 cases per 100,000 followed by Swansea with 708.9 and Neath Port Talbot with 688 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board shows 301 new cases reported today, 183 in Carmarthenshire, 61 in Pembrokeshire and 57 in Ceredigion.
