2391 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 286,256. There were 6 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,688. The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Swansea with 651 cases per 100,000, followed by Merthyr Tydfil with 623.3 and Neath Port Talbot with 616.8 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 260 new cases reported today, 122 in Carmarthenshire, 95 in Pembrokeshire and 43 in Ceredigion.
