A further 543 new cases of coronavirus have been
reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 248,112. There was 1 new coronavirus death reported by PHW
so the total number of deaths rises to 5,630. The
infection rate in Wales is now 135.7 per 100,000 people slightly up from 133.4
the day before. Wales' infection rate has now fallen steadily for more

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 299.9 cases per 100,000, followed by Conwy with 239.8 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 37 new cases reported today, 25 in Carmarthenshire, 6 in Pembrokeshire and 6 in Ceredigion.
