As restrictions are eased...Does that Monday morning feeling return... or has it never gone away?

 


A further 1364 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 247,569. There were 3 new coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so the total number of deaths remains at 5,629. The infection rate in Wales is now 133.4 per 100,000 people slightly up from 132.5 the day before.  Wales' infection rate has now fallen steadily for more than a week. The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 290.5 cases per 100,000, followed by Conwy with 242.3 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 109 new cases reported today, 60 in Carmarthenshire, 34 in Pembrokeshire and 15 in Ceredigion.

Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,304,271 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 2,115,477 people are now fully vaccinated.
