End of another week... the path out of the woods to the light is not clear yet...

 

A further 1090 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by PHW bringing the total cases to 249,958.  2 new coronavirus deaths were reported today by PHW so the total number of deaths has risen to 5,634The infection rate in Wales is now 144.2 per 100,000 people slightly up from 142.4 on Thursday. For more information on the Covid figures released today go to Wales Online...

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Denbighshire with 274.8 cases per 100,000, followed by Conwy with 229.5 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board  reported 105 new cases reported today, 30 in Carmarthenshire, 59 in Pembrokeshire and 16 in Ceredigion.

Covid-19 vaccine update: 2,310,898 people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 2,132,116 people are now fully vaccinated.
