As the days pass... the totals just go up and up...

 

The latest update from Public Health Wales (PHW) reported 1,135 more positive cases to bring the total cases to 227,563, the number of deaths total now stands at 5,581. Wales' infection rate has risen to 145.3 cases per 100,000 people, up from 138.3 on Tuesday.

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales remains Wrexham with 318.5 cases per 100,000 people, down from 330.3 cases on Tuesday. This is followed by Denbighshire with 227.8 and Flintshire with 221.7.

 

Betsi Cadwaladr UHB had the most with 40, followed by Cardiff and Vale UHB with 27, Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB with 25, Aneurin Bevan UHB with 22, Hywel Dda UHB with 8 and Swansea Bay UHB with 3.

Covid-19 vaccine update:  2,277,055people in Wales have now had their first dose of the vaccine. 1,861,700 people are now fully vaccinated.
