End of the week lift... restrictions eased and no deaths reported...

There have been no Covid-related deaths reported in Wales in the past 24 hours. The number of people who have died with coronavirus is now 5,543, Public Health Wales (PHW) confirmed. There have now been a total of 211,162 cases, of which 58 new ones have been confirmed. There have been 1,916,987 people tested for coronavirus in Wales and 3,256,533 tests carried out. Wales' rolling seven-day case rate is now 14.7 per 100,000.

Of the new cases, 20 were in Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board area that covers North Wales and 10 in the Swansea Bay Health Board area, were in both the Aneurin Bevan and Hywel Dda Health Board areas, 6 in Cardiff and Vale Health Board area and 2 in both Cwm Taf Morgannwg and Powys Health Board areas. 2 were resident outside Wales. 


The figures show 1,742,273 people have now had their first dose of the vaccine while  653,537 have had two doses.
