The weather has improved...the number of deaths has also improved but even 1 death is too many...long may it all continue...

Please remember, just because you’ve had the vaccine, does not mean it is safe to ignore the rules and guidelines. It is not known whether it will stop someone catching and passing on the virus, but we do expect it to reduce this risk. So, it is still important to follow the guidance in your local area to protect others.

Only one person in Wales has died with coronavirus, reports Public Health Wales. It takes the total number of Covid-related deaths reported to 5,344. Also 170 new cases were reported on Tuesday, as Wales' overall number of cases per 100,000 people fell to 60. The new death was recorded in the Swansea Bay University Health Board area.

The number of cases for every 100,000 people fell in most parts of the country. Conwy is now the county with the highest case rate in Wales, with 93.9 infections per 100,000 people over the most recent seven-day period. The next highest case rates are in Gwynedd 86.7, Flintshire 73 and Caerphilly 72.3. Ceredigion, with 24.8 cases per 100,000 people, continues to have the lowest rate in the country, followed by Pembrokeshire 27.8 and Bridgend 40.8.

Today’s numbers of Covid-19 cases in the local areas of Llanelli…

And finally...We may be winning the fight against Covid-19 but we still need to...
