The door has been opened today...load up the car and we're off...Hopefully it is the restart of normal life...

The door has been opened today to a touch of freedom after a long year of sacrifice and isolation for many. Let us hope that the release of the shackles of restriction does not create a wave of new cases and deaths that reverts us all back to the despondency and deprivation of our everyday liberty to be free to go wherever we wish. Be sensible, be safe and stay well...

Seven more people have died with coronavirus in Wales, reports Public Health Wales. It brings the total number of deaths reported to the health body since the pandemic began to 5,505. A further 201 cases have been reported in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of positive tests to 208,895.

Today’s numbers of Covid-19 cases in the local areas of Llanelli…

Thought for the Day…

Please remember, just because you’ve had the vaccine, it is not known whether it will stop someone catching and passing on the virus, but it is expected to reduce this risk. So, it is still important to take care, wear a mask and social distance to protect others.
