There have been no further deaths of people with coronavirus in
Wales in the latest 24-hour period, Public Health Wales (PHW) has reported. It is the first time this has happened this year and the total number of
PHW reported deaths remains at 5,403. A further 164 positive
cases were also reported, as Wales' rate, measuring infections per 100,000 people,
fell to 45, the lowest since 18 September.
A total of 998,296 people in Wales have now had a first dose of Covid vaccine.
