3 weeks again before the blinds are raised...Let us hope that they are raised high enough....

Another 16 people have died with coronavirus in Wales, reports Public Health Wales. It takes the number of Covid-related deaths to 5,221. Also  a further 363 cases reported, with Wales'  case rate dropping slightly to 83 cases for every 100,000 people.

Of the deaths reported on Saturday 6 were in the Swansea Bay Health Board area taking its total to 750.  3 were reported in Cardiff and Vale Health Board area and 3 in Hywel Dda Health Board area. 2 were reported in Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board area, which has the highest number of overall Covid deaths at 1,454. The Aneurin Bevan Health Board area and Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board area both reported 1 new death.

 

The total number of people in Wales who have had their first dose of a Covid vaccine is now 853,904. Second Covid jab doses have been given to 32,002 people.
