Nearly nine months into this life
changing pandemic managed by some of the most inept politicians that have ever
been elected the government has still not learned from any mistakes or u turns
that have been part of their handling of this terrible disease that has cost so
many innocent lives.
The NHS and Social Care has been overwhelmed with trying to save lives in the hospitals and care homes nationwide, little thought by the idiots running the show from Westminster of trying to minimise deaths and attending to the redundancies, deprivation, hunger and homeless but ensuring that their response to the pandemic was little more than a interruption to their manifesto written to ensure that looking after the well off and affluent sector of society, the less well off were left to rely on goodwill, food banks and families to survive.
Boris and his merry men have blustered and lied their way through the months of difficulty and still cannot handle the pandemic in a way that will save lives. Up until yesterday over 67,000 lives have been lost and that figure will grow and grow and as long as the clowns in Westminster are in charge then there is little hope of restitution. UK Labour leader Keir Starmer has urged the Prime Minister to show "strong, clear and decisive leadership", saying coronavirus is now "out of control". I really do not think that is going to happen anytime soon.
Yes vaccination will hopefully be the saviour of humanity but until this troupe of clowns and jesters get out of town families will continue to lose loved ones, jobs will be lost, hard working key workers will not be paid a penny more and the NHS will continue to do its best with wards filling up, staff getting ill that will put more strain on colleagues, social care staff spending more time caring for the vulnerable in society and less with their families at Christmas.
The country is broken beyond repair by a Tory Government that is incapable of providing for the nation any semblance of support and empathy to minimise the hardship, poverty, despondency and hunger this pandemic has dropped on our shores...
The population of this country are resilient and life will continue through the dark tunnels that are before us, lights will appear faintly and hopefully they will transform into beams of brightness that will at last break the stranglehold this nightmare has on all of us.
