On March 16, 2020, exactly two years ago, Wales
reported its first coronavirus victim. The victim was a 68-year-old who passed

sheer scale of sadness that would follow. Since then, many hundreds of families have
been left to mourn. Today, on the second anniversary that changed everyday life for millions around Wales and the world we remember and pay our respects to all
those that are sadly no longer with us. Coronavirus is still all around us and
the number of daily cases reported has shown that it has not left our shores so please
continue to remain safe during these difficult times.
