2504 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by
PHW bringing the total cases to 296,310. There were 3 coronavirus deaths reported by PHW so
the total number of deaths has risen to 5,702. The
infection rate in Wales is now 469 per 100,000 people

The area with the highest infection rate in Wales is Merthyr Tydfil with 752.3 followed by Swansea with 682.2 and Neath Port Talbot with 672.6 cases per 100,000. Hywel Dda Health Board is showing 344 new cases reported today, 174 in Carmarthenshire, 107 in Pembrokeshire and 63 in Ceredigion.
